How VirasatAI looks after your family's information.

VirasatAI helps families record their history and life stories. We treat the memories you share with the care they deserve. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Contact details — the name, WhatsApp number and email you give us to set up a tree or a Life Story gift.
• Your story — the messages, voice notes and photos shared during an interview, and the family relationships you record.
• Payment details — handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Basic visit data — page, approximate country and referrer, kept on our own servers. No third-party trackers, no cookies, and no raw IP addresses are stored.

How we use it

• To build your family tree and write your keepsake book.
• To message you on WhatsApp (via Twilio) about your order.
• To process payment (via Stripe) and email you a receipt.

Interview text may be processed by our AI writing partner (Anthropic) solely to compose your book. Photos and voice notes are stored securely (Cloudflare R2) so your book can be made.

What we don't do

We do not sell your information, and we do not share your family's stories with advertisers. Ever.

Your choices

You can ask us to stop messaging at any time (reply STOP on WhatsApp), and you can ask us to delete your information. Just email hello@virasatai.io and we'll take care of it.
